Brookside Academy Juniors

The commencement of the Junior Program at Brookside Academy is a very special time for your three to four year old. As your child transitions from toddlerhood to childhood, Brookside Academy's Junior Program is there to assist students and parents in this important time, while challenging students to cross ever more ambitious milestones.

Brookside Academy's Junior Program invokes the full spectrum of our core curriculum, a time tested developmentally appropriate educational curriculum designed to fully prepare the student for pre-kindergarten. The program offers pre-math (introduction to the concept of number recognition, counting & geometric shapes), and pre-reading (introduction to the alphabet visually and orally, and listening comprehension). The program strives to further develop the student's self confidence and social development, focusing on learning to share and relating in a group environment.

Brookside Academy's two state of the art computer labs will start to play an increasingly important role in the junior program curriculum, along with more advanced music and art programs. Brookside Academy's specially designed playground as well our "Sprayground Water Park & Beach" provides the much needed physical outlet for these very busy young children.
