Brookside Academy Freshman

The Brookside Academy Freshmen class, generally aged from 12 months to 24 months are quite a busy group indeed! Learning to perfect the art of walking, climbing, sliding and riding helps build their gross motor skills that are critical as your child progresses from infancy to toddlerhood as well as helping to build the foundation of their self confidence.

Brookside Academy's places great emphasis on the individuality of each child. Our expertly trained staff provides the environment for your toddler to grow and develop at his or her own pace in an atmosphere of comfort, security and love. Your toddler will receive attentive

assistance as he or she discovers what their hands can do, being coached through practical tasks such as learning to feed themselves and reading books as well as fun, manipulative playtime to help further develop their fine motor skills. Our Freshmen are encouraged to interact with their classmates as the concept of sharing and taking turns are introduced.

Brookside Academy's recreational programs will ensure that your toddler enjoys plenty of outdoor time to romp on our specially designed age appropriate playgrounds, rest on our cool shaded patio, or be taken for a stroll through the BROOKSIDE river front park with their classmates!
