Community
In The News:
Brookside Academy is proud of it's participation in
many community outreach projects. Our staff, parents and students are
always willing to help the community in any way that we can. Giving
back to others is a passion shared throughout our school. The preschool
contributes annually and participates in activities that encourage
community giving and a spirit of reaching out to help others.
Currently Brookside Academy is reaching out to our
Community with several projects:
Holy Redeemer Blanket Drive:
One of Brookside Academy’s Post
Graduates who attends Holy Redeemer has asked us to help her with her
schools Blanket Drive. Our Staff and Parents are actively soliciting
all our friends and neighbors to help make this worthy project is a
success for all parties involved. We are proud to be the recipient of
$2,000 from an anonymous donor to purchase brand new blankets!
FaithBridge Foster Care:
Brookside Academy is currently providing a tuition grant at each of
our
locations to a Foster Care Family through the FaithBridge Foster
Care organization, in conjunction with North Point Church. We are
honored to partner with families who've taken on the challenge of
solving our cities foster care crisis.
The Davis Academy:
Continuing the tradition of sharing the holidays with all our
neighbors and friends of many cultures The Davis Academy’s 3rd
grade class came to share the “The Joys of Chanukah” with
our Brookside Academy Seniors. Our Brookside Children sang a welcome
song in English, Hebrew and Spanish. The Davis Academy then performed a
skit of “The Maccabbees” and sang “Ocho
Kandelikas” in Ladino. It was a great day of cultural exchange,
fun and friendship!
Brookside Academy Is
Proud to be Community Partners with our Neighbors:
